From 25th June to 11th July Krakow will be the capital of Jewish Culture. Festival of Jewish Culture has place every year from 1988 in historical Jewish district of Krakow - Kazimierz. During nine days of festival there are over 200 events connected with Jews - concerts of Jewish music, art galleries, workshops where participants will be able to learn how to play Jewish folklore instruments, singing songs and do many other things, Jewish plays in theatres, conferences and discussions about their traditions and many more.

Festival will be inaugurated by solemn concert in Temple Synagogue. The most famous Jewish artists from all over the world will take part in the celebrations, so we can be sure, that festival will be very interesting and entertaining. But it will be also very educational experience. The greatest Jewish learned persons and authorities will try to make Jewish culture, traditions and religion to be closer and more comprehensible for all.

Jewish Festival in Krakow is the one of the greatest such events in the world. It’s tempting every year thousands of people who are interested and who like colorful and lively Jewish culture. It’s also great opportunity to talk about very important matters, like tolerance and coexistence of cultures.
