Portrait of Frederic Chopin
This Warsaw tour will let you see all the places connected with the famous pianist and composer, Frederic Chopin. Before he moved to Paris, where he died in 1849, Chopin had lived in the Poland's capital city and nowadays we can visit places which bear his memory: the palace in which he gave his first concert, Holy Cross Church where his heart was reposed or the newly opened, modern and breath-taking museum, commemorating our piano master.

- Czapski Palace – Chopin's family lived here in 1827–1830. Today it's the seat of Fine Arts Academy.
- Holy Cross Church – where Chopin's heart has been sealed within a pillar
- Museum of Frederic Chopin This is a real treasury of knowledge about our piano genius. This newly opened, modern exhibition which uses the newest audiovisual technology is a place where we can have a close look at the most important moments in Chopin's life: from the first concerts through the move to Paris until his death in 1849. Chopin's music accompanies us during the visit to the museum, but if we want to contemplate his masterpieces on our own, we can get into the one of Plexiglas capsules and listen to it separated from the other visitors.
