For such a big city, Gdansk it’s very crowded place, so transfer isn’t very onerous. Of course is better to avoid main streets during the rush hours especially when we traveling by car or bus, but 11 lines of trams, which are coursing very often, let us not to be worry about staying in traffic jams. Trams course between the main parts of the city and thank to it we can reach almost every place in Gdansk.

Also good: Buses – Reach many more destinations than trams, but aren't so comfortable
We don’t recommend: Taxis - Taxis in Gdansk are quite expensive. It's better to use public transport
