World War II Beginning - Gdansk
We have three important places connected with the beginning of war in Gdansk. First one is a Westerplatte which is contractual place of war‘s beginning. We can admire there giant monument of Coast’s Defenders. Another interesting object there is an original tank T-34 considered as the best tank of World War II period.

From Westerplatte we’re going to lighthouse placed in New Port district. From the window of lighthouse German soldier has shoot for signal to start the attack. Another place on our way is a Seat of Polish Post. In 1st September 1939 this building turned into stronghold where 56 workers of Polish post equipped with several riffles, grenades and short pistols was repulsing attacks of thrice German forces armed with panzer vehicles and flame-throwers.

World War II Uprising - Warsaw
During World War II Warsaw was the main seat of General Government’s authorities. Also here in 1940 Jewish Ghetto was founded. This place intended to isolate Jewish population in Warsaw.

Nowadays we can find here the remains of ghetto walls. Commemorating tables remind us about this tragic events and make us remember the great sacrifice and proud of Jewish nation. We can also admire Monument of Ghetto Heroes in Warsaw and in the future there will be Museum of Polish Jews History.

Main point of our visit in Warsaw which is able to let us meet World War II history better is a Warsaw Uprising Museum. This place is the one of the most famous, modern and often visited museums in Poland. Everything that we should to know about Warsaw Uprising we can find here. Visit here is the greatest way to meet this part of World War II history.

The End of World War II - Krakow and Auschwitz-Birkenau
The last point of this tour is Krakow, especially old Jewish district - Kazimierz, Schindler’s Factory Museum and Auschwitz-Birkenau Extermination Camp. Visit in those places let us to meet the situation of Jews during World War II and in the end of this conflict.
