Alexander Hotel was opened in 2003. It is a nice 3-star hotel with comfortable rooms where you can take peaceful rest after.

Hotel restaurant invites you to taste delicious (not only Polish cuisine) dishes. There is also a drink-bar that offers a wide range of soft and alcoholic drinks.

    The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I stayed at the hotel in July and it was hot in the rooms (but not unpleasant) during the nights.

    The hotel is well situated for the major sightseeing spots. Would have liked a towelling robe and hot drink facility in the room.

    Only let down on the hotel staff was when we arrived at 10am on the Tuesday and told we couldn't check in until 2pm that afternoon, we were allowed to leave our luggage but were sent into the pouring rain of Krakow without a map and 4 four hours to lose. Upon coming back at 2pm to check in (after getting hopelessly lost in residential areas - a map would of sorted this!) we checked in, only to find our room was not even near ready and were asked to wait another 15 mins, which after being in the rain for 4 hours was a massive let down. We did not even receive an apology from the reception staff. We paid for a double bed and had 2 singles, not the end of the world but still not what I paid for. The staff for the rest of our stay were more than pleasant, it just seemed to be the two staff on reception the day we arrived.

    Room very comfortable but was a bit disappointed to find that one bed in a three-beddded room was a sofa. Also , in spite of booking two rooms for our party, they were not together, in different buildings, in fact.

    I had room number 01 which was a very comfortable, nice size room next to the elevator. No noise. We all appreciated the breakfast assortment

    Curtains could be thicker to keep out light. No minibar or fridge in single rooms. Flat screen TVs in rooms?

    The hotel was great! We were only 5mins walk from the market square, which was good. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very comfortable and large enough. The hotel value was very good and we would book with this company again!
