I was particularly grateful...

First of all Piotr, everybody on the trip joins me in expressing our thanks to you and your company for an excellent visit. Everything seemed to work very smoothly and for this, at the London end of the organisation, I was particularly grateful.

Some particular things to mention.

Qubus Hotel. This proved to be a very good choice by you and we were very comfortable and the staff very helpful. The Friday night meal worked reasonably well (by ordering early before the meeting) and the breakfasts were sumptuous and extremely good value. If I was returning
to Krakow, which I hope I will, I'd definitely stay there again. The fitness suite and swimming pool were very popular. The conference room was fine too.

Florianska Restaurant. This worked very well too and everybody was happy and well fed. They gave us a side room and a couple of charming waiters with attractive, if idiosyncratic pronunciation of English, and we all enjoyed their care of us and felt on the whole it had been
a good choice for this size of group. too

Staff/Guides: Dorothy was charming and very helpful and the group naturally wanted to express this in the usual way and did. Lunch on board on the Saturday was perfectly ample and nice tasting rolls. One couple saved there own for the EasyJet flight home the next day! Nobody would have wanted to go and have a meal between camps and I think this solution was ideal for us; thank you for organising it.

The Auschwitz Guide was truly excellent and everybody has commented on his wisdom and knowledge and that it was his skill that transformed the camp tour and made it so memorable. As with Dorothy, when we had a collection for him everybody gave very generously as they were so grateful. He told me privately that he mainly worked on the Museum Website. For sure a really good guide for your company to have chosen for us.
On the Sunday morning tour, the guide you chose for us was delightful, friendly and extremely well informed. It poured with heavy rain throughout so we had a brief tour only (at our behest) but she made a wet Sunday morning in Krakow very interesting.

Privately, she had helped Alison & myself with a particular query about Polish mythology and I would like to send her an email about this particular query and would be grateful if you could let me have her email address too. Again , delegates warmly showed their appreciation of her efforts for us in the usual way.

The transports and drivers were very comfortable and well organised and efficient. This made for a big help over the entire weekend, including your actual welcome at Krakow Airport and your timely help with the booking in at Qubus.

Finally, I am going to send you two files that I've photographed and edited from our trip. As you've been very helpful over the months I thought it would be nice if you could see these and we can share them with you. Under a separate message I will give you the links.
