Poznan Palm House

Poznań Palm House is the largest in the country and one of the largest in Europe gathering of artificial tropical vegetation. At almost 5 thousand square meters you can watch more than 1100 species of plants in 37 water aquariums and swimming pools 170 species of fish and 50 species of aquatic plants.

The entire collection is divided into sections: - subtropical plants: dominated by palm trees and creepers – temperate flora: plants of the Mediterranean Sea- Aquariums - Americas succulents - tropical plants: banana trees, tropical forest - aquatic plants - tropical undergrowth: orchid collections , fern trees - and savanna: a collection of African flora, palm trees, aloes and spurge.

Morasko Meteorite

In Poznań on its periphery there is a place which called - The "Meteorite Morasko”. It is situated on a hill called Mountain Moraska. This is a big front-Moraine formed at the end of the the last glaciation era. Morena is also the largest elevation in the Wielkopolska region. Its height is 154 above the sea level.

This is an area of about 55 hectares, presumed in 1976 as a nature reserve. Its main attraction is a group of seven crates, arisen as a result of iron meteorites impact, probably belonging to set of Perseids that can be observed from Earth every year during the month of August.

Heritage Park

Heritage Park Miniatur is a place where you can view models of historic buildings and interesting cities of Wielkopolska. Piast Trail is shown in its present and partly historical form.

Thus, it is shown to the guests the process of settlement development in Poland. This is the only such facility in Poland. It lies in the valley of the Main River in the basin with an area of 23 ha, as remains of the gravel mine. It is a place centrally located in the Piast Trail area. Heritage Park is a great place for shooting children pictures. Among the small buildings they are like Guliwer.
