Poznan Palm House

This is the biggest in Poland and one of the largest Palm Houses in Europe. I you want to see tropical species of plants, reptiles, fishes or insects you don't have to travel to Brazilian rain forests. Now, thousands of unique species are presented in this modern, well prepared palm house.

Palm House is divided for the 9 parts where we can admire such groups of plants like tropical or water vegetation, American cactus as also aquariums with uncommon species of fishes etc. Sightseeing of the palm house is a relaxing, peaceful activity, ideal if you want to get rest from the noise and crowd of the city.

Morasko Meteorite Reservation

This is one of the most mysterious and unique sights in Poland. In the area of park, situated at the Morasko hill in the northern part of the city, there are 7 craters, which was created by the meteorites, which have fallen about 5 thousand years ago. Today most of them are filled with water, they turned into the small, wonderful ponds. The biggest piece of meteorite weigh 165 kilograms.

Except of the remains from space, at the territory of Morasko Reservation we can find some interesting, unique species of plants and birds. This is an ideal place to escape from the crowded city as also area with an amazing atmosphere. Science fiction movies lovers will surely appreciate it.

Malta

Malta is a common name of objects situated around the artificial lake in one of the Poznan districts. These place is a recreation center, where everyone can find something interesting for him, all year long. Malta lake is one of the most popular regatta trials in Poland. Many sport events from school tournaments to international contests have place here very often. Of course lake is also great watering point during summer which provide a coolness when it's to hot.

Near the lake there are such objects like artificial ski slope which is opened all year long or icerink. In Malta center there are also a lot of performances and music concerts which are really amazing experiences because the stage is built on the water. While you're here you can also use great Spa and watch a movie in open-door cinema.
