Winter Olympics in Vancouver is done. Many countries have reasons for celebrations. First of them is Canada, which won fourteen gold medals. But among those who are happy now, after this Olympics there is also Poland!

We were expecting for medals of ski jumper Adam Malysz and ski runner Justyna Kowalczyk. We can’t be disappointed. Already at the first day of competitions Malysz won silver. No one could defeat young Austrian - Simmon Amman, whose jumps was much further than the opponents. Situation has repeated one week after on the large ski-jump. Amman - Gold, Malysz - silver. But there is no reason to be disappointed, our champion showed that he is the one of the best ski-jumpers in the world.

Unquestionable Polish hero of this Olympics is Justyna Kowalczyk. Our ski runner won a complete of medals. We should be thankful for emotions that she gave us.

The greatest surprise was made by Polish speed skaters, who defeated Americans and won bronze. In the end Poland get six medals - one gold, three silvers and two bronzes.

This Olympics was one of the most controversial and exciting in history of winter competitions. But after all we have six reasons to be proud.
