I thought I would let you know how we went on in Poland. The first thing I would say is that we had a marvellous few days. We were obviously concerned about the restrictions imposed by the Pope’s visit but apart from the prohibition and the Castle being shut everywhere else was open. It was very busy at times but it did give Krakow a lively and friendly atmosphere. Krakow is a lovely city with plenty of interesting buildings, churches etc and I would certainly visit again. The people were always friendly and very efficient and the city is very clean and has numerous good restaurants. Auschwitz was something else, emotions run high and you cannot really understand the suffering that went on. We try to understand their experience but it is difficult to comprehend how this could happen. So sad. So what did we think of Escape2poland and their arrangements? We thought they were first class, from the friendly efficient correspondence with yourself and Monica, to the collection and transfers by the young lady in the car. We would like you to pass on our thank you’s to her, sorry we do not have her name, she was always on time, friendly and very efficient and helpful. A credit to your organization. It made the holiday very easy and smooth and relaxing. The summary is that we had a great time and would certainly use Escape2poland again and would recommend you to anyone going to Poland. i have been meaning to get back to you and say a big thank you from all our group. we had a fantastic time in krakov and the tour from start to finish could not have been better. some of our group are even talking about going again already. the bus driver was excellent.... his english minimal but so was our polsih so that wasn't a problem - at least not for us anyway.....we nicknamed him johnny!!!! he was very good. the hotel was aslo excellent. very clean, staff were more than helpful and situated in a great location to the city center.and the irish pub!!! once again thank you for making it all that bit easier. i took a lot of credit for organising the trip but you deserve most of it. THANK YOU again john

Dear Piotr, I am just writing to let you know that our tour to Poland last week was excellent. From the moment that we arrived in Krakow to the point that we left, all the arrangements went superb. Our 2 drivers were superb, and the hotel was great. All our party were very encouraged with the tour. Many of the party want to return next year for maybe 5 days instead of 3, so that they can see more of Krakow. I have a number of other folk who want to go aswell, so I will be in touch. Arrived home on Saturday from Poland. My party have asked me to send our very sincere thanks for a fantastic holiday made possible by your company. Hi to you at Escape 2 Poland, I returned last night from our 5 day trip to Krakow, and just thought I would drop you a quick note to say thank you very much for all your help in organising our trip. We stayed at the Matejko Hotel and found it to be very nice, clean and the staff very helpful. I also booked our trip to Auschwitz through you and everything was excellent (except it rained ALL day!!). Just a quick note to say we loved our time in Krakow not enough time to see everything after all the problems we had flying but nevermind. It was a worthwhile trip and our visit to Auchwitz was memorable as we met an ex prisoner on our travels. I would just like to say thank you for your help in arranging our trip to Krakow. I have never booked online before and I was surprised to find out how easy and hassle free it actually is!!! I would definitely recommend your company to anyone who is travelling out to Poland. The trips were great and we had a good driver and tour guide for Auschwitz & Birkenau. Your driver also even offered us cheaper taxi ride back to the airport which was again excellent. Infact if you can recommend any other place in Poland apart from Krackow to visit I would be interested in considering a return visit. Thanks for everything Rebecca & Phill

Dear Monika & Piotr, I have just returned home from Poland yesterday and had to write to tell you how fantastic my trip was. Everything you organised was very reliable and all taxis' etc on time. The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic. I was confident that this trip would be memorable, but it exceeded all expectations. As a woman on my own I didn't once feel unsure, but safe and respected in all places. Auschwitz was harrowing, moving and extremely sad, but I'm glad I went, and hope that by all the people that go and pay respect, every one of the people murdered will be remembered. First of all Piotr, everybody on the trip joins me in expressing our thanks to you and your company for an excellent visit. Everything seemed to work very smoothly and for this, at the London end of the organisation, I was particularly grateful. Some particular things to mention. Qubus Hotel. This proved to be a very good choice by you and we were very comfortable and the staff very helpful. The Friday night meal worked reasonably well (by ordering early before the meeting) and the breakfasts were sumptuous and extremely good value. If I was returning to Krakow, which I hope I will, I'd definitely stay there again. The fitness suite and swimming pool were very popular. The conference room was fine too. Florianska Restaurant. This worked very well too and everybody was happy and well fed. They gave us a side room and a couple of charming waiters with attractive, if idiosyncratic pronunciation of English, and we all enjoyed their care of us and felt on the whole it had been a good choice for this size of group. too Staff/Guides: Dorothy was charming and very helpful and the group naturally wanted to express this in the usual way and did. Lunch on board on the Saturday was perfectly ample and nice tasting rolls. One couple saved there own for the EasyJet flight home the next day! Nobody would have wanted to go and have a meal between camps and I think this solution was ideal for us; thank you for organising it. The Auschwitz Guide was truly excellent and everybody has commented on his wisdom and knowledge and that it was his skill that transformed the camp tour and made it so memorable. As with Dorothy, when we had a collection for him everybody gave very generously as they were so grateful. He told me privately that he mainly worked on the Museum Website. For sure a really good guide for your company to have chosen for us. On the Sunday morning tour, the guide you chose for us was delightful, friendly and extremely well informed. It poured with heavy rain throughout so we had a brief tour only (at our behest) but she made a wet Sunday morning in Krakow very interesting. Privately, she had helped Alison & myself with a particular query about Polish mythology and I would like to send her an email about this particular query and would be grateful if you could let me have her email address too. Again , delegates warmly showed their appreciation of her efforts for us in the usual way. The transports and drivers were very comfortable and well organised and efficient. This made for a big help over the entire weekend, including your actual welcome at Krakow Airport and your timely help with the booking in at Qubus. Finally, I am going to send you two files that I've photographed and edited from our trip. As you've been very helpful over the months I thought it would be nice if you could see these and we can share them with you. Under a separate message I will give you the links. Anthony

I am writing on behalf of my father who has just returned from his trip organised by escape2poland and who had a truly wonderful time. I have been in contact with you making arrangements but it was father and his friend who took the trip and he had nothing but praise for you when he got back. Everything went like clockwork. The hotel was really clean and the staff friendly. When they got picked up for the Auschwitz - Birkenau trip, they were told 9.20am and the bus was there exactly on time and all drop offs and pick ups during the trip were also very prompt, their female bus driver even arranged to take them to the airport the next morning and again was very punctual and helpful. Also, during their trip my fathers friend had asked her where he could buy a particular drink a friend of his had asked him to get so she took him into a supermarket and helped him out with buying it (you don't get that in the UK). Everyone they met in Poland was friendly and kind and the place itself is beautiful, it is not somewhere very often thought of as a holiday destiantion but somewhere he would love to return to. The tours of Auschwitz and Birkenau were very informative and extremely moving and thought provoking. My father said you definately got a sense of bad things happening within the walls and grounds of the place and thought it was all very well organised and respectful. I would like to end this with a HUGE thank-you from my father, his friend and myself. Many people have asked about his trip and he will definately recommend you to anyone wishing to visit Poland and use you again should he return. We had (as far as possible given the context of our visit!) and excellent time. Everything worked wonderfully from an operational perspective. Flights on time, the hotel, buses, wheelchairs, and Auschwitz tour guide were all great! Kazmierz was fascinating, the food and music in the Ariel restaurant brilliant too! I don't think it's a tour we will be doing every year, but I expect that we will fix another one up in three or four years time. When that happens I'll let you know!! Julian

Hi Guys Arrived back yesterday after 5 wonderful days in Krakow (Booking Ref: 2412-2403-105) and wanted to thank everyone at Escape2Poland for all their help in making this a very special break. The airport connections and tour pick-ups were all punctual and all vehicles were to a very good standard. The Hotel Pollera was excellent, the rooms warm and clean and the staff welcoming and friendly. Warm water in the evenings would have been good after a day out in the cold though. All three tours were excellent and the tour guides knowledge was always top notch. The restaurants and coffee shops we visited are all to be recommended. They all served great food, we always tried to pick local dishes, in amazing surroundings. The Indigo Pub (ul.Floriańska 26) became our local watering hole and with it's friendly, fun staff, great music and welcoming atmosphere it too is highly recommended and is more than worth a visit. This wonderful, historic city exceeded our expectations and we had a ball here for five unforgetable days and nights. Thanks Guys. John & Heather

We arrived back from our trip to Poland yesterday and I just wanted to write and say what an excellent time we had. The hotel was lovely and in a perfect location. The trip to Auchwitz, although we all found it incredibly moving and traumatic, was well organised. The driver showed up at our hotel on time and was very helpful as was the tour guide which had been arranged for us. We thought Krakow was a beautiful city and everyone was friendly. thank you for organising our memorable trip to Krakow. The hotel Colombus was amazing, only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Thank you so much for organising our hotels; we had a marvellous holiday. Krakow is a wonderful place & Warsaw is awesome. We loved Kazimierz, & went on a 'Schindler's list' trip, which was fascinating.  There was music & street-theatre everywhere, & we had a night at the opera in the Barbican, which was magic. The trains even run on time! The weather was hot & sunny every day except one! We will certainly recommend you to anyone we know who wishes to visit Poland. Dziekuje! Mike & Ann

I just wanted to drop you a short note to thank you for helping arrange our lovely holiday in Poland. It all worked out perfectly!The hotels were great. The Polonia Palace in Warsaw must have offered the best and most varied breakfasts in the whole of Poland, while the Amadeus had a fantastic location in Krakow.  We enjoyed the whole trip and would recommend it to anybody. Hi Just got back from my trip to Krakow. I had a great visit and everything went with no problems. My tour of Auschwitz was very emmotional but i am very glad i decided to go. I will be back to visit Poland in the future so that i can visit all the places that i missed on my short stay. The hotel was lovely and all the people very pleasant and friendly.
