Railway and bus tickets
Almost all bigger Polish cities are well connected with trains. The quality of our trains has grown over the past few years, and whilst they are not as fast as french trains, they are very comfortable. With the InterCity trains you can travel between most important places in very relaxing conditions. Journey from Gdansk to Warsaw (about 360 km) is 4.5 to 5 hours.
There are also places where it’s easier to go by bus, for example Zakopane. Train from Krakow to the capital of Tatra mountains takes about 4 hours. By bus this way is less than 2.
