Warsaw-Krakow Train Timetable

Train is the most convenient means of transport to travel between Warsaw and Krakow as the journey by car or by bus is very long due to the lack of a convenient infrastructure. The distance between Krakow and Warsaw is 300 km and takes around from 2.45 to 3.20 hours.

The cost of a ticket for Warsaw to Krakow train varies and depends on the type of train. All the following prices apply to a regular ticket. For all tickets student discounts apply - 51 %.

Please note that it is only possible to buy the tickets at the train station and it may happen there will be long lines to the counters. Therefore, reserve at least 20 min. before the train departure time to purchase the ticket.

There is a very convenient train connection from Krakow Glowny to the Krakow Balice Airport. The journey takes approx. 20 min. and the train runs every half an hour in the peak time, otherwise every hour. The train ticket costs 10 zl.

There is a good bus connection from Warsaw Central Station the the Warsaw Airport Okecie. The journey takes approx. 30 min. A public bus line 175 runs every 10 min. in the peak time. Single ride bus ticket costs 3.60 zl.
