The fastest way of traveling in Warsaw is by subway. It has 23 stations and gets from the south to the north of town through the very center of Warsaw. It runs every 7 minutes or so, during rush hours even 3 minutes. The only problem is that there is only one line of metro and it does not cover the whole city. Therefore Warsaw has the largest number of buses in Poland(1700) and the transport consist of 219 lines. They cover the entire city(also at night). But the problem with the buses is the same as everywhere else :traffic jams. Here what can help us are Warsaw trams. They consist of 31 lines and cover all the most important areas of the town. During the rush hours the number of trams is doubled.

The cost for all means of transport in Warsaw(subway, buses, trams) is 2,80 PLN. Warsaw has also a great number of taxis corporations. The cost of ride is between 1,50 and 2,60 PLN per 1 km.
