It is the largest and most beautiful house built according to unique Zakopane style. With its high foundations it looks like a stylish castle. It was designed by Stanislaw Witkacy, creator of this one of its kind architecture style.

House is a private possession, so tourists can admire it only from outside. However it’s really worth to see it. This building shows a character of Zakopane


Bajka


Willa Bajka

Beautiful wooden house erected In years 1913-1920 by Leopold Winnicki – first mayor of Zakopane. Willa Bajka is another marvelous example of Zakopane architecture style. It was originally designed for a pension, but it was changing its function few times. In the end history made a circle and today we can find here Bajka Pension run by the family of the first mayor. Stay in one of the oldest buildings in Zakopane provides magical experience.



Tatrzanski Manor

Tatrzanski Manor

Tatrzanski Manor from the beginning was cultural center of Zakopane. Built by Tatra Society for a long years was a place of many events, performances, readings and other shows. Most famous Polish actors, writers and people of science and culture often visited manor. Building was reconstructed three times after the fires. Nowadays this is the seat of Polish Tourism Society and one of the most interesting monuments of Zakopane.
