Frequently Asked Questions

Our prices are well negotiated in advance, meaning that there is no price advantage to be gained from booking late. In high season, hotels can sell all their rooms several weeks ahead, so, booking late may severely restrict the choice of hotels we can offer you. Basically, the earlier you book the greater choice of hotels you will have and the better deals we will have for you. Remember, the best deals are likely to go first.
Most rates quoted by Escape2Poland are per person unless we write that it is per room. For example, all package prices are per person as well as all tour prices. Only if you book hotel or airport transfer your price will be quoted for a room per night or per transfer.

Breakfast is usually included except of apartment bookings. The total price you see in your basket on the right section of the site is the price you pay.

Please note local taxes can be introduced in holiday areas at any time and payment would be your responsibility. All local taxes have to be paid locally in local currency, however they are usually symbolic. For example Krakow City Tax is a cost of 1.60 Polish Zloty per person per night which is about €0.40 and £0.35
Yes, in all of our packages two way Krakow Balice Airport transfers are included. Airports in other locations will require additional payment.
We offer two types of payment which is: ECO payment (in cash to the driver, on the date of the tour) or payment upfront, by debit / credit card. Please, keep in mind that every booking over 90 GBP in total is due to be paid upfront, with no possibility of paying is cash. In case of the Packages, we only accept payment upfront.

Please notice that if you make a full payment for your holidays, Escape2Poland takes the risk for any exchange rate changes between the currency you pay and the Polish Zloty (in which we pay for all services in Poland). The price we confirm at the time of booking (full payment completed) is the price you pay. No. We take care of everything. All you need to do is to print the hotel voucher or have in downloaded on the mobile device, you receive from us via email which will be sufficient for the hotel staff.
Yes, by email. You need to print it or keep it on mobile device with you and present it to the hotel staff upon arrival.
Simply send us an email at info@escape2poland.co.uk, providing your booking reference number, your telephone number, your name and the dates of arrival. We will then contact you and help to make any changes.

Please note any cancellation MUST be made through us and not directly with the hotel and will be subject to our terms and conditions. Cancellation is possible only if the client cancels a reservation at least 4 days before his date of arrival and is subject to penalty fees described in our terms and conditions. Please note that all cancellations made 96 hours or less before your arrival or tour date are subject to a full price penalty for the services.
You can pay by debit or credit card (we accept: Solo, Switch, Maestro, Visa, Delta, Electron, MasterCard & Visa Card).
In case of group bookings we also accept money transfers.
Our prices are locally negotiated by our partners and staff, so we can always offer you the best rates for hotels in Poland. Furthermore, as an online business without a high street presence, our costs are kept to a minimum enabling us to pass on great savings to you. You can save up to 50% on your booking with us.
After you complete your hotel reservation, we will email you a booking confirmation, which will show your complete itinerary and your reference number. This email also includes a voucher to be printed and presented to your hotel on arrival as proof of your reservation.

In case of any changes, we will contact you immediately by the contact details that you provide in your reservation.
Cancellation and change charges

Tours & Transfers:
  • made within 24 hours after placing the booking are subject to NO penalty (does not apply if made 72 hours or less from the date of the tour).
  • made 5 days or more before your arrival or tour date are subject to NO penalty.
  • made 4 days or less before your tour date are subject to a full price penalty.
  • a) In all other cases not defined, cancellations and/or changes are subject to full price penalty and your card will be charged with the appropriate amount.


Private Tours/Guides & Private Transfers:
  • made 15 days or more before your arrival or tour date are subject to NO penalty.
  • made 14 days or less before your tour are subject to a full price penalty.


Hotel or ApartHotel:
  • made 5 days or more before your scheduled arrival date are subject to NO penalty.
  • made 4 days or less before your tour date are subject to a full price penalty.


Train and/or Bus Tickets:
  • Train and Bus tickets are non-refundable. In all cases, cancellations or changes are subject to a FULL price penalty.
  • No refunds will be given for incorrect or duplicated bookings.


Escape2Poland holds no responsibility for changes in the train or bus schedule, train or bus delays or lost property.



Apartment:
  • made 15 days or more before your scheduled arrival date are subject to NO penalty.
  • made 14 days or less before your scheduled arrival date are subject to a 50% penalty fee of the total cost.
  • made 4 days or less before your scheduled arrival date are subject to a full price penalty.


Other services not stated above:
  • made 15 days or more before your arrival or tour date are subject to NO penalty.
  • made 14 days or less before your tour date are subject to a full price penalty.


To make your booking you will be guided through the Escape2Poland site and offered selections or prompts for information where necessary. The steps are as follows:

To book a package
Step 1: Choose City and chose “Packages”
Step 2: Choose the required package and click on its name
Step 3: Read description of chosen package and later on click “Build this package”
Step 4: Choose dates, number of people and rooms that you are looking for (website will automatically refresh and show you your options) and choose hotel that you wish to book
Step 5: Click on the chosen hotel, check dates and room structure and click “Add to Basket”
Step 6:Click “BOOK NOW” and proceed with your personal details such as. first Name, Last Name and email address. Then click “BOOK and pay now” and proceed with your Card Details and click “PROCEED”
Step 7: Confirmation of the reservation will be on the screen along with a booking number (order) Additionally, your reservation will be confirmed by an email with attached voucher, that you will have to present to the hotel when you check in.
All hotel rooms will be held until 11.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If there is a possibility of late arrival, please either enter flight details in the "special requests" section while making your booking, and this will be passed to the hotel. In case of any delays, please contact us immidiately on our emergeny phone number: +48 53 5645454.
In such case you should not worry. It is enough that you confirm your identity on the pickup to our drivers. Moreover, we do accept mobile version of the vouchers, there you could show screenshot of the email from your phone / mobile device.
Changes may be made to reflect market conditions and currency fluctuations. We continually renegotiate rates with hoteliers to bring you the cheapest prices possible. Once a booking has been confirmed the price will not change.
