Am I better off booking my hotel in advance or at last minute?
Our prices are well negotiated in advance, meaning that there is no price advantage to be gained from booking late. In high season, hotels can sell all their rooms several weeks ahead, so, booking late may severely restrict the choice of hotels we can offer you. Basically, the earlier you book the greater choice of hotels you will have and the better deals we will have for you. Remember, the best deals are likely to go first.
Are the rates on your site per person or per room per night? Do your rates include tax and breakfast?
Most rates quoted by Escape2Poland are per person unless we write that it is per room. For example, all package prices are per person as well as all tour prices. Only if you book hotel or airport transfer your price will be quoted for a room per night or per transfer.

Breakfast is usually included except of apartment bookings. The total price you see in your basket on the right section of the site is the price you pay.

Please note local taxes can be introduced in holiday areas at any time and payment would be your responsibility. All local taxes have to be paid locally in local currency, however they are usually symbolic. For example Krakow City Tax is a cost of 1.60 Polish Zloty per person per night which is about €0.40 and £0.35
Are transfers included in Packages?
Yes, in all of our packages two way Krakow Balice Airport transfers are included. Airports in other locations will require additional payment.
Do I have to pay you in full upfront?
You can pay just 35% deposit at the time of a booking and the balance payment for the tour is due to be paid in cash to the driver on the day of the tour. However In case of packages the balance is due to be paid at the latest 5 weeks prior to your arrival to Poland. Therefore if you are booking just few weeks in advance full payment will be required.

Please notice that if you make a full payment for your holidays, Escape2Poland takes the risk for any exchange rate changes between the currency you pay and the Polish Zloty (in which we pay for all services in Poland). The price we confirm at the time of booking (full payment completed) is the price you pay. However, if you make a deposit payment we reserve the right to revise the amount of your balance payment in case of a significant change (3% or more) between the exchange rate of the currency you pay and Polish Zloty. All balance transactions are calculated in PLN currency.

We know that some sites do not charge you at the time of booking, you just provide your card details and pay at the hotel upon checking in. Please notice that these companies do not take responsibility for exchange rate changes. At the time of booking the price in Sterling Pounds is the price you would pay for the hotel if you check out on the day you make the reservation. When you check out, you pay for the hotel in local currency and you have no information on how many Pounds Sterling you’re going to be charged by your bank. So you usually pay more as even if the rates are the same you have to pay the Bank’s spread for the transaction in other currency than GBP. When you make your booking with Escape2Poland you can be sure that the price we confirm at the time of booking (full payment completed) is the price you pay.
Do I need to confirm my booking with the hotel directly?
No. We take care of everything. All you need to do is to print the hotel voucher you receive from us via email which will be sufficient for the hotel staff.
Do I receive a hotel voucher for my booking?
Yes, by email. You need to print this booking confirmation voucher and present it to the hotel staff upon arrival.
How can I amend or cancel my booking?
Simply send us an email at info@escape2poland.co.uk, providing your booking reference number, your telephone number, your name and the dates of arrival. We will then contact you and help to make any changes.

Please note any cancellation MUST be made through us and not directly with the hotel and will be subject to our terms and conditions. Cancellation is possible only if the client cancels a reservation at least 24 hours before his date of arrival and is subject to penalty fees described in our terms and conditions. Please note that all cancellations made 96 hours or less before your arrival or tour date should be made by telephone on +48 535 64 54 54 (24h).
How can I pay?
You can pay by debit or credit card (we accept: Solo, Switch, Maestro, Visa, Delta, Electron, MasterCard & Visa Card).
In case of group bookings we also accept money transfers.
How can your prices be so attractive?
Our prices are locally negotiated by our partners and staff, so we can always offer you the best rates for hotels in Poland. Furthermore, as an online business without a high street presence, our costs are kept to a minimum enabling us to pass on great savings to you. You can save up to 50% on your booking with us.
How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
After you complete your hotel reservation, we will email you a booking confirmation, which will show your complete itinerary and your reference number. This email also includes a voucher to be printed and presented to your hotel on arrival as proof of your reservation.
How much will I be charged if I cancel a booking?
Cancellation and change charges

For hotel services:
Changes made 96 hours or more before your arrival date are subject to NO penalty. Cancellations made 96 hours or more before your arrival date are subject to NO penalty. Cancellations or changes made 96 hours or less before your arrival date are subject to a 1 Night Room penalty.



For tour services:
Changes made 10 days or more before your arrival or tour date are subject to NO penalty. Cancellations made 10 days or more before your arrival date are subject to GBP 5 penalty per person. Cancellations or changes made 96 hours or more before your arrival or tour date are subject to HALF price penalty for every ticket. In all other cases cancellations or changes are subject to FULL price penalty.

For transfer services:
Changes made 96 hours or more before your scheduled arrival date are subject to NO penalty. Cancellations made 96 hours or more before your transfer date are subject to a 5 GBP penalty per person. Cancellations made 96 hours or less before your transfer date are subject to a FULL price penalty.

The above cancellation and change charges applies, unless other charges have been introduced to the customer at the time of booking. If your booking is made for 12 or more people, or 5 or more rooms then the following cancellation charges apply, unless other charges have been introduced to the customer at the time of booking: 6 weeks or more before the arrival date - 20% of the total cost 3 weeks or more before the arrival date - 35% of the total cost 1 week or more before the arrival date - 60% of the total cost. 6 days or less before the arrival date - 100% of the total cost.
If we are unable to make a requested change and you do not wish to continue with the booking then our cancellation charges, as detailed above will apply.
In the event of any service being cancelled by ESCAPE2POLAND the client will be fully refunded and every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative.
How to book a trip?
To make your booking you will be guided through the Escape2Poland site and offered selections or prompts for information where necessary. The steps are as follows:

To book a package

Step 1: Choose destination, dates and rooms required.
Step 2: Choose the required package and click Read More.
Step 3: Choose the hotel and click Book Now to book the package or click on the links next to the hotel price to get more information.
Step 4: Complete your name, address, and card details. The reference number for your reservation will come up on our booking completed page.
Step 5: Additionally, your reservation will be confirmed by an email with attached voucher, that you will have to present to the hotel when you check in.

To book a trip, adding elements separately

Step 1: Choose destination, dates and rooms required.
Step 2: Review search results and click on the links under the hotel price for more information.
Step 3: Add the room you require and click on Continue button located under your basket on your right.
Step 4: You will now have a list of available tours. Add the tour you require and click again on Continue button. If you do not want to book the tour please click Continue.
Step 5: After the list of tours you will be guided to airport transfers site, where you can add an appropriate transfer and continue to the payment site.
Step 6: When you complete your name, address, and card details, the reference number for your reservation will come up on our booking completed page.
Step 7: Additionally, your reservation will be confirmed by an email with attached voucher, that you will have to present to the hotel when you check in.

You may also start your booking process from the list of tours or transfers. In such case you will be then redirected to the next travel service we offer.
What happens to my hotel booking if my flight is delayed?
All hotel rooms will be held until 11.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If there is a possibility of late arrival, please either enter flight details in the "special requests" section while making your booking, and this will be passed to the hotel.
What if I lose my voucher and/or booking reference number?
In such case you should not worry. It is enough that you confirm your identity on the pickup.
Why is the price different to when I checked last time?
Changes may be made to reflect market conditions and currency fluctuations. We continually renegotiate rates with hoteliers to bring you the cheapest prices possible. Once a booking has been confirmed the price will not change.
