Check out how traditional cheese is made in Zakopane or why the city has unique architecture that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world. Do you think you have heard of Zakopane before? That’s possible as world ski jumping championships often take place at the Great Krokiew in Zakopane. As Poland has a few fantastic ski jumpers that we are extremely proud of, you’ll have a chance to learn their names and check out the hill, too. Zakopane is a great place for national and international tourists. Skiers love Zakopane as it is located in the Tatra Mountains, where the winter’s average temperature is 2 degrees Celsius. Hikers, in turn, may enjoy, in average, 20 degrees Celsius during summer months. Those visiting the thermal spas say that the weather is great all year round.
